Kickstart Scheme

Junior Animator

Junior Animator

Are you interested in a career within animation? We’re looking for a Junior Animator who will work closely with our animation team and in collaboration with a team of professional creatives. At Dreamworkspro, we pride ourselves on being a driven team of young creatives in a supportive, engaging work environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in animation software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro etc.), Clip Studio Paint, Toon Boom, Maya or 3DS Max etc.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to existing art and animation styles
  • A drive and passion for art and creative media
  • Portfolio of work including personal projects

Role Includes:

  • Working on a deadline

Junior Graphic Designer

Junior Graphic Designer

Are you interested in a career in graphic design? We’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer who will work closely with our animation and games department and in collaboration with a team of professional creatives. At Dreamworkspro, we pride ourselves on being a driven team of young creatives in a supportive, engaging work environment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work on digital and print projects
  • Experience in using design tools and softwares, e.g. Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom etc.), Clip Studio Paint, Gimp, Blender or 3DS Max etc.
  • Capable of doing hand drawn animations or in Unity Game Engine (can provide training if not)
  • Portfolio of work including personal projects (examples of graphic and digital art)

Role Includes:

  • Working on a deadline

Junior 2D Game Artist

Junior 2D Game Artist

What we're looking for:

The role is a position for an artist who’s able to provide a portfolio of artwork, preferably with some examples of game artwork they have done in personal projects while also having good communication skills. We are looking for someone who has an outgoing personality while also being able to take feedback in a constructive manner while communicating their thoughts and opinions. The Idea applicant should apply with a CV, portfolio link and a cover letter detailing why you believe you’d be a good fit for the team and this role in particular. When telling us about yourself as an up and coming professional in your field please detail what you could bring to the role and why.

Here at Dreamworks Pro we pride ourselves on the team atmosphere and we’re not afraid to have a laugh. We support one another with feedback and opinions on improvements and we’re all open to suggestions even from other departments. Each of us understands that a good idea can come from anyone, it's just a matter of listening.

Requirements:

  • Able to handle constructive feedback and communicate your ideas.
  • Comfortable adapting to an existing art style.
  • Creating 2D game assets such as Sprite Sheets, Environment Assets and UI Assets.
  • Capable of doing Animations either hand drawn or in the Unity Game Engine. (If zero knowledge of Unity we will train you on the job)
  • Bonus Points:
    • Have the willing to learn and hit the ground running
    • If you already have knowledge on github and source control, however we will train you on any missing knowledge on the job.

Role Includes:

  • Able to integrate assets and textures in Unity whilst respecting the technical constraints of an artist.
  • Able to keep to the deadlines provided and if you feel that the schedule is too tight communicate that in advance.
  • Capable of communicating with the developers on any modification to game assets.
  • Able to take the placeholder assets of the game and replace them with the correct sprites and 2D assets if required.

Junior Unity Developer

What we’re looking for:

The role is a position for a developer who’s able to provide a portfolio of unity games they have done in personal projects and who has an understanding of system design and is capable of adapting to an existing code base. While also having the skill of communication, we are looking for someone who has an outgoing personality while also being able to take feedback in a constructive manner while communicating their thoughts and opinions. The ideal applicant should apply with a CV, portfolio link and a cover letter detailing why you believe you’d be a good fit for the team and this role in particular.
